SELF CARE, STRESS REDUCTION, AND THE ART OF MIND BODY MEDICINE WORKSHOP

This workshop is a one-day workshop that teaches about self-care, how to reduce stress and burnout and the art of applying mind- body medicine to your professional and personal life. This workshop is recommended for small groups of 15 with up to 30 participants. The information will be presented as a combination of mini-talks and experiential exercises. ​
IN THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL LEARN:
  • What is Mind-Body Medicine
  • Symptoms of Stress
  • The simplicity of the power of one: one choice - one person can make the difference
  • The power of your thoughts, feelings and behavior - The million dollar technique
  • Cognitive restructuring and increasing self-care to combat fatigue, burnout, and lack of motivation.
  • Healthy boundaries for the helping professional to create wellness on a professional and personal level.
  • Mind-Body Medicine practices of SELF CARE to decrease stress and burnout
  • Practical strategies to implement positive changes on a daily basis
  • Vision board as a reminder of your goals

  • Self-care practices- where are you now, where do you want to be and how do you get there.
  • WTNT - Nature, mindfulness meditation, connection and support.
  • Bio-dots
  • Stress reduction & relaxation techniques to allow more awareness and resolution of the stress
